Yongin Sewage Treatment BTO Project

The Yongin Sewage Treatment Project was a private investment project for integrated sewage treatment with the capacity of 171,530㎥/d. It was a Build-Transfer-Operate (BTO) project ordered by the city of Yongin, and we invested the funds, and Yongin Clean Water was in charge of the project execution and operation. We successfully completed 12 wastewater treatment plants and the resident convenience facility by December 2010 and will operate them for 20 years. Recognized for the environmentally-friendly construction methods and unique ideas considering the local residents, the Yongin Sewage Treatment Project received the East Asia Project Innovation Award from the International Water Association (IWA) in 2008.
