TAKREER RRE Package#3 U&O Project
In December 2009, we took part in the TAKREER Ruwais Refinery Expansion (RRE) Project worth 10 billion dollars ordered by TAKREER, an affiliate company of the UAE state-run oil company ADNOC. This project was aimed at increasing the production capacity of the existing refinery in the refining and petrochemicals complex in Ruwais from 400,000 barrels per stream day (BPSD) to 810,000 BPSD. Recognized for our strong project management skills in various projects in the UAE region, including the Borouge 2 OCU Project and Fertil-2 Project, we were awarded with Package 3, the utility and offsite, out of the seven packages.
In Charge of Interface Management of the Entire Package
We were in charge of not only building the facility that produces and supplies utilities (steam, industrial water, air, gas, nitrogen, etc.) required for the plant operation and the facility that treats seawater, fresh water and wastewater but also the interface management of the entire package. The successful completion of this project led us to win the Shah Gas Project and TAKREER Carbon Black & Delayed Coker (CBDC) Project.
