Toray KPR-1 Project

The Toray Advanced Materials PPS Gunsan Plant was a super-engineering plastic manufacturing facility (Phase 1 Production Plant) located in the Saemangeum Industrial Complex in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province. This plant was the world’s first plant which had an integrated process that ranged from raw material supply to production of PPS compound and resins. Its annual production capacity was 8,600 tons of PPS resins and 3,300 tons of PPS compound. Using our extensive project experience and knowhow, in-depth understanding of the fine chemicals process, and management practices that prioritize safety and environment, we completed the project successfully. Recognized for our competency in managing the site without incidents and constructing a plant that brings out the full strength of an integrated production process, we were able to win the next project.
