Samsung Electro-Mechanics Vietnam Project

The new plant of Samsung Electro-Mechanics Vietnam (SEMV) was a production facility located in the Yen Binh Industrial Zone in the north of Thai Nguyen Province specializing in substrates and modules. This project, carried out from January 2015 to April 2017, was especially significant as it provided us with the opportunity to enter and build a long-lasting presence in the Vietnamese IT market, and also establish a standard execution model for Vietnam. It was important to consider the fact that SEMV specializes in both development and manufacturing and that there was an advantage of supplying the camera modules and substrates to the smartphone manufacturer in the same complex as it shortened the time required to respond to clients and reduced the logistics costs. Taking this into account, we performed the engineering, procurement and construction for the ISM LINE expansion, HDI expansion, and additional piling work for Plant 2.
